How to monitor PSAM checks

Modified on Wed, 13 May at 12:02 PM

Monitoring Updates (PSAM)

A PSAM check with monitoring activated will automatically continue checking for additional matches from PEP, Sanction, and Adverse Media sources.

When an update is detected, an email will be sent to alert the Red Flag Alert user of a new PSAM for the monitored individual.

All updates on monitored individuals will also be included on the PDF export under the 'Monitoring' section.

Please note: PSAM monitoring alerts remain active for 12 months from the date they are created (unless manually disabled). After 12 months you must start a new check to continue monitoring the individual.

Monitoring your checks

From the IDV & AML page, you can view your latest check, sent checks and their status. To filter to view a specific check, you can use the filters button, search bar, or click the required category box - e.g., 'Passed' to view all 'Passed' checks.

You can also view any checks that were sent out/completed using our legacy system by clicking the 'View your historic checks' button.

You can monitor changes on each individual check with monitoring enabled by clicking on the check from the list and going to 'Monitoring' on the right side of the options bar. Any changes will be documented here.
